Junior Technical Account Manager

Visiture is a rapidly growing eCommerce agency headquartered in Charleston, SC with a thriving office in Midtown Atlanta as well. Position Summary:

The Junior Technical Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that our clients get exceptional service delivered to them on time and without complications. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on being an excellent communicator and surpassing expectations. This role interacts with several different departments and requires a great deal of time management and task organization.


Principal Responsibilities:


Highly-skilled communicator and a strong conversationalist who is deliberate in building client relationships.

  • Develops strong client relationships by engaging in client conversations. Remembers the small details!
  • Communicates effectively and remains client-advocate as much as possible
  • Remains pleasant and level-headed during tough conversations
  • Works to maintain high client-retention
  • Strong presentational skills, speaks with authority and aligns stakeholders on vision
  • Consolidates complex concepts into digestible, tactical tasks
  • Communicates effectively and remains client-advocate as much as possible
  • Owns schedule and agenda for all client meetings and communication.
  • Writes detailed documentation with actionable next steps after every conversation.
  • Performs thorough discovery on new features and brings in necessary parties to discuss complex requirements
  • Manages client’s monthly retainer/budget

Strategic thinker who is able to develop, recommend, and execute on-site opportunities that maximize budget spend. He/she is curious, motivated, and willing to learn new skills.

  • Builds a backlog of site opportunities based on industry trends and best practices, taking budgetary constraints into account and organizing tasks into actionable sprints
  • Presents backlog of site opportunities on a quarterly basis to all account stakeholders
  • Collaborates with client-side external teams (eg. marketing teams) for seasonal updates, events, promotions, etc.
  • Works closely with the Director of Client Services and clients to identify new site opportunities
  • Assists with SOW creation for smaller projects outside the scope of client’s retainers
  • Completes detailed reporting of success stories for stakeholders
  • Stays up to date on eCommerce and platform trends and is able to make sound recommendations to clients as needed
  • Gathers data for case studies and works with Client Services to write case studies
Daily Activities
  • Creates all task in JIRA providing as many details as possible
  • Send client weekly report on tasks and hours
  • Participates in daily stand up meetings with Business Analyst and effectively communicates priorities
  • Roadmaps internal and client-facing timeline for tasks
  • Able and willing to assist with quality assurance if necessary
  • Signs off on any live deployments
  • Assists with training Junior Account Managers



  • 1 or more years of experience in account or project management
  • 1 or more years of experience in a client-facing role
  • Previous experience with agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Negotiation skills a plus
  • Ideal candidates have recent experience as a Technical Account Manager in a fast growing company
  • Must be highly detailed-oriented
  • Must be a team-player and be able to work with cross-functional team
