In a move to improve their local reviews, Google has acquired Zagat, announced on Google’s blog today.
Google has obviously recognized Zagat’s popularity and trusted brand presence. This is great news for Google local reviews and therefore, local businesses. With Google’s search power and Zagat’s “wealth of experience” in reviews, it seems like a match made in heaven.
